‘Stranger Things 3’ Trailer Shows Steve And Dustin’s Bromance Is Alive And Well

If nothing else, we at least have this!

The first trailer for Season 3 of Netflix’s nostalgic sci-fi series, Stranger Things, dropped Wednesday morning, and it was filled to the brim with truly worrisome images. From new monsters to literally anything regarding Will Byers, we have a lot of action and a lot of horror coming our way. But we do have something to get us through! That’s right, our prayers have been answered, and we are getting more of the Steve and Dustin bromance in this season!

Stranger Things 2 really upped its game. The Mind Flayer alone proved that. But everyone’s favourite new addition to the series was by far the unexpected friendship between cool high school senior Steve Harrington and geeky middle school sweetheart Dustin Henderson. Steve went through a full redemption arc last season, going from unlikable jerk to top notch babysitter, stealing all of our hearts and proving that he is the best character on this show. He gave Dustin secret hair tips, dating advice, and even drove him to the dance! This truly surprising friendship stole the show. And it’s far from over!

While we don’t see a ton of the bromance in this trailer, we do see Dustin visiting Steve at his new job, where he serves ice cream at the mall. And the two even have their own special greeting now! Yes, we watch as the two pretend to fight with lightsabers, ending with Dustin pretending to skewer Steve with his. This is the kind of adorable, heartwarming positivity we need in our lives.
