Trailer Watch: Experience A Whole New World In The New ‘Aladdin’ Trailer

This latest glimpse into Disney's live-action adaptation shows off new costumes and classic songs.

The first looks of Disney’s live-action Aladdin has received somewhat mixed reactions from both die-hard and casual fans. And there’s no question as to why. The animated film was nothing short of perfection, and that’s a lot to live up to. The first trailer left fans feeling somewhat underwhelmed, especially regarding Will Smith’s Genie. Will Smith is fantastic, don’t mistake us, but the CGI left a little to be desired. We only hoped that Disney was still working away at it. And it turns out that’s exactly what they were doing.

The latest trailer, which dropped on Tuesday morning, reveals more of the Genie’s looks, and it is so much better than we were expecting. The trailer features more of the gorgeous costumes, each as colorful and vibrant as the last, and we finally get to hear some of our favourite, classic songs from the original film! From Friend Like Me to A Whole New World, this new trailer held nothing back, determined to ease our minds and persuade us that they will not let us down. And honestly, we’re feeling more excited than ever! Disney also released a mesmerizing new poster to accompany the trailer! Take a look.
