‘American Horror Story’ Just Cast This Olympic Medalist To Play Emma Roberts’ Boyfriend

This skier is about to enter a world of horrors...

American Horror Story is known to stay on the secretive side of things, and as such, fans treasure every bit of news they receive. And we just got some pretty major casting news!

Earlier on Wednesday, creator Ryan Murphy posted a photo of a certain Olympian, revealing in the caption that he would be playing Emma Roberts’ boyfriend in Season 9! In one post, he not only confirmed the return of Roberts, who has appeared in 4 of the show’s previous seasons, but also the addition of Olympic Medalist Gus Kenworthy! Take a look.

Kenworthy is a freestyle skier, and he happened to win the Silver medal for the sport in the 2014 Winter Olympics! Kenworthy is also an LGBTQ+ rights advocate, and was one of the first openly gay male athletes to represent Team USA! We’re not going to lie, this guy seems really cool, and we can’t wait to see what he does in the world of American Horror Story! What we do know for sure? He and Roberts will certainly make a cute couple in the series. Need proof? Here are just a few of our favourite pics from his Instagram.
