Lady Gaga’s ‘A Star Is Born’ Character Just Got A Very Real Billboard In Los Angeles

Get ready to fall in love with Ally all over again.

In 2018, A Star Is Born, starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper (and directed by the latter) landed in theaters and our hearts. Audiences everywhere fell in love with the film, the music, and of course, the characters. The film is heartwarming, heartbreaking, and so moving that very few left the theater with dry eyes. So, unsurprisingly, the movie is up for several nominations, as it should be. And not that it needed it, but A Star Is Born just got more attention.

In the film, Lady Gaga’s character, Ally, gets put on a billboard in Los Angeles, and it acts as a major stepping stone in her musical career. She goes from unknown acoustic singer to fully fledged pop star, and nothing says pop star like a giant billboard. Well, someone, or more likely, the studio, put the exact same billboard of Ally up in the same place it is in the film. This is actually in Los Angeles right now!

Iconic doesn’t even begin to describe this billboard. And though some may claim it’s just an attention-grab, we here at Fiction’s Mistress like to think it’s a symbol, a true sign of how much of an impact A Star Is Born had on all of us. We look at that billboard and we don’t see Lady Gaga. We see Ally. This movie just keeps on pulling at our heartstrings.

A Star Is Born Will Hit Stores In February.
