Jared Leto Begins Preparation For ‘Morbius’ By Shaving His Iconic Beard

The actor famous for his method acting let Instagram watch as he shaved.

Jared Leto is no stranger to changing his look. Famous for his method acting, he’s shaved his eyebrows and waxed his entire body for two separate roles, he’s dyed his hair green, lost weight, gained weight, and pretty much everything else you can think of. But he’s also one to take breaks from acting. And while he did do a Netflix film this year, you may be wondering why you haven’t seen him on the big screen. That is, if you don’t follow his band, 30 Seconds To Mars, where Leto is both the lead songwriter and singer.

The band has spent the last few years working on their latest album, titled America, bringing it on tour to cities around not only the country, but the world. But as that tour is coming to an end, Leto has signed on to a new Marvel film, titled Morbius, where Leto plays the title role. Morbius is a scientist who tries to cure himself from a rare blood disease, but instead of curing the disease, he transforms into a Living Vampire. The character originally appeared as an antagonist and began in the Spider-verse, which makes us question whether or not he will make an appearance, however brief, in an upcoming Spider-Man film. It’s entirely possible, considering the actor just shaved his infamous beard. He even let the world watch.

Leto is known for letting both his hair and beard grow while he tours with the band, but he also isn’t afraid to change his look the next day for a role. And it looks like he’s done just that with Morbius. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see what he does with this role!

Morbius Is Currently In Pre-Production.
