Trailer Watch: The Trailer For Disney’s Live-Action ‘Dumbo’ Is Guaranteed To Make You Cry

Do not watch this if you are not ready for high levels of emotion.

Disney is known for its magical, wondrous films. Films that take us to a whole new world, filled with beauty and hope no matter what the circumstances. But they sure know how to break our hearts. And Dumbo seems to be no exception.

On Wednesday night, Disney released the first full-length, official trailer for the highly anticipated live-action film, and it is even more of a tearjerker than we expected. Directed by Tim Burton, this re-envisioning is sure to be as beautiful as it is twisted. And let’s be clear, Dumbo was always twisted. Taking a baby elephant away from his mom is truly heartbreaking to think of, but the incredible animation in this new film makes it even more painful to watch. It is clear just from the trailer how much time and energy everyone put into this film and into Dumbo himself. You can see every ounce of pain in this tiny elephant’s eyes. Yes, this trailer will make you cry. Which means the film itself will probably make you weep uncontrollably. But you won’t be alone in that.

The film features a star-studded cast, with Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito at the lead. The cast combined with the heartbreaking story and the beautiful animation is sure to move us all.
