Jodie Whittaker And Mandip Gill Take On The ‘Doctor Who’ Accent Challenge

"Apples and pears, I'm the Doctor!"

We’re two episodes into the new season of Doctor Who, and already it’s clear that they’re staying true to what the show has always been. Action-packed and heartfelt, with more than its fair share of adorably quirky, lighthearted moments. This show may have its intense arcs and suspenseful climaxes, but it also isn’t afraid to make its audience laugh. And neither is the cast, it seems!

On Monday morning, the show shared a little behind the scenes hilarity on their Facebook page of none other than the Doctor herself, Jodie Whittaker, and Mandip Gill, who plays companion Yas, taking on the Accent Challenge, Doctor Who style. And the result is iconic.

With some classic accents, such as Australian and Scottish, they were also asked to say “I’m the Doctor” Broadchurch style. Not to mention impersonate their costar Bradley Walsh! The ladies of Doctor Who are killing it both on and off screen, and we can’t get enough! Check it out!
