Fantastic Beasts Movies Trailer Watch

Trailer Watch: ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald’ Trailer Drops At SDCC, And It Looks Even Better Than The First

The long-anticipated sequel hits theaters this November, and it may be one of the most action-packed films in the wizarding universe!

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them showed us a rift in the Potter fandom. While some fans are excited by every piece of wizarding news, especially a new movie, some couldn’t help but feel that the film fell short. And honestly, I see where they’re coming from. The 7 Harry Potter books (and 8 movies) that are so beloved took place during a turbulent time in the wizarding world. We saw the end of a great war, one where the entire world was at stake, and unfortunately, Fantastic Beasts couldn’t live up to that. At least, the first one couldn’t. But as we see with the latest trailer, The Crimes of Grindelwald is raising the stakes tenfold. And it looks pretty damn epic.

The new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald dropped this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, and it’s given us so many things to be excited about. As if Jude Law as young, Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor Dumbledore isn’t enough, we also get glimpses of Zoe Kravtiz’s Leta Lestrange, a full look at Johnny Depp’s Grindelwald (and what he’s after!), and Nicolas Flamel! And let’s not forget the fantastic beasts! This movie is going to be positively incredible!
