Horror Trailer Watch TV

Trailer Watch: ‘Harry Potter’ Stars Tom Felton And Natalia Tena Reunite In YouTube Premium Series ‘Origin’

The horror/sci-fi series will be available to stream on YouTube Premium this fall.

Cable television is slowly but surely on its way out, and in its place stand streaming platforms. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and now YouTube Premium are perfect examples of streaming services that are quickly taking over the television world, producing many people’s favourite shows. And YouTube Original Origin, a thrilling sci-fi set to release later this fall, looks to be no exception.

Harry Potter stars Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and Natalia Tena (Tonks) reunite in this science fiction nightmare, where both will have an opportunity to start anew. Origin is about a group of people looking for a fresh start on a newly colonized planet, a world specifically designed for those looking to escape their old lives. But on their way, the spaceship is damaged, and these passengers must try and find a way forward. But who knows what the people on this spaceship are capable of. What are they running from? And what have they done to get here?

The trailer is positively, stunningly haunting, and this looks to be as much a horror as it is sci-fi. It will play with our social constructs and concepts of morality, and I, for one, cannot wait to see where they take this! You don’t want to miss Origin.
